Hope this finds everybody well.
This week has been a quiet yet very sunny week on the island, very few tourists and very few hotels are now still open.
We are all learning to live now with covid and the restrictions, which haven’t really changed much this week on the island.
The airport and port are both fully open but of course, with a decrease of flights and ferries as the weeks go on, and we head into Autumn.
Mainland Spain has seen areas having stronger lockdown and travel restrictions but this has not affected Ibiza.
The schools have now opened and pupils are now attending in groups at various times of the day to help stop large groups of kiddies being together at one time
Playgrounds, play parks etc have been closed again for a couple of weeks with the intention of not letting kiddies play in large groups together.
There have been further outbreaks in some of the care homes for senior citizens but cases now in general on the island seem to have mild symptoms.
We continue to wear masks at all times, bars and restaurants have reduced capacities, we can only meet in groups up to 10 people, and we are generally living a very quiet life, still working hard but respecting our distances and sanitizing our hands wherever needed.
We are optimistically following the news on the vaccination situation and the covid situation in other European countries and of course are still here to offer any help we can for any couple still wishing to change dates.
Love from us all
Candi and team
